The company "ESD" (Evaluation Software Development) was conducted to primarily focus on the development of medical and psychological computer software.

The software products are utilized for collection, calculation and interpretation of patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in clinical practice and research.

The "Computer-based Health Evaluation System" (CHES) represents the main IT tool, which can be used in various fields of medicine.

CHES is used for data collection, storage, and graphical presentation in the medical and psychological field. In addition, the program offers the opportunity for graphical real-time feedbacks of patient-reported outcomes linked with medical patient characteristics (see figure above)

All data is stored in a database allowing for answering various research questions.
